Symphony For Freedom - 1º movement - Overture - Across the Universe ( Através do Universo)
Symphony For Freedom - 2º movement - Calliope's Song (Canção de Calíope)
Symphony For Freedom - 3º movement - Journey Through the Happiness (Jornada através da Felicidade)
Symphony For Freedom - 4º movement - Before the greatness of God (Diante da grandeza de Deus)
Symphony For Freedom - 5º movement - Final Part - Dreams, the Ultimate Freedom (Sonhos, a Liberdade Final)

My dear friends, with the advent of the creation of the JB XAVIER’s site administered by Recanto das Letras, I took with my readers - and now listeners - the commitment to also disclose the songs of my own, and did it through the cover story of the site itself: "A journey into the magical world of poetry, painting and music."

Through the Recanto das Letras, my readers are already familiar with my writings, but it was only with the creation of the site that I could publish my drawings and paintings.

Now, I also started to publish my music. The musical genre chosen by me to the top of these publications was the "New Age" or by the vast possibilities it offers to the creation, or by a few canons music he claimed - which provides the composers may go to the extremes of their creativity - by far emotion he can convey.

Do not think about it that the "New Age" requires less knowledge of music than other genres of orchestral music. It just - by its very nature reductionist - clings to feeling much more steeped in music, that the complex techniques of traditional musical notation, which are often required virtuosos to perform them. In the New Age, virtuosity is much more in creating than in execution.

Furthermore, the chromatic and melodic beauty possible in this genre has no parallel, in my point of view, precisely because it does not stick to the traditional musical canons. Listen to Vangelis, Kitaro, Yanni, Enya, Loreena McKennitt and many others.

As a lover of music, in general, and classical music scholar in a special way, I'm wondering how much the creations of Wagner must have bothered his contemporaries, when carried with it new shapes and bold musical unthinkable until then. (Regarding this issue, indicate the reading series "Wagner and Nietzsche," in http://www.recantodasletras.com.br/ensaios/37220) Obs. Text in portuguese.

So, my friends, let me to introduce a modest musical work, whose theme for me is the mainspring that makes life worth living: Freedom. (You can find it in "Áudio")

This is the "Symphony For Freedom" a work comprised of five movements, namely:

Symphony For Freedom - 1st movement - Overture - Across the Universe
Symphony For Freedom - 2rd movement - Calliope's Song
Symphony For Freedom - 3th movement - Journey Through The Happiness
Symphony For Freedom - 4th movement - Before the greatness of God (
Symphony For Freedom - 5th movement - Final Part - Dreams, the Ultimate Freedom

I thank my usual readers, and all those who also become listeners.

And finally, I especially thank the Recanto das Letras, by the patient support which enabled the creation of the site JB Xavier. Especially, my gratitude to Mr. Patrick, who so wisely has been conducting this important cultural enterprise, ensuring that it remains true to the purpose for which it was created: Disclosure and the encouragement of culture, so lacking in this country, which sorely needs it.

To him I dedicate this work.

Thank you all.
