Cultivarei a escuridão, cantarei às trevas,
Chamarei estrelas, gritarei ao universo
Que a ausência de ti se transforma em verso
Que tanto mais caio quanto mais me elevas...

Selarei verdades, cavalgarei sonhos,
Cantarei meus quereres, minha ousadia e meus medos
E na canção que emana de ti serei apenas o tristonho
Menestrel, eivado de teu mel, e senhor dos teus segredos...

Chamarei a mim todas as dúvidas que me habitam
Todas as verdades que me abandonaram
Todas as ninfas que dentro de mim gritam  
Todos os seres que um dia já amaram...

E assim, tanto mais caio quanto mais me elevas,
E na ausência de ti que se transforma em verso
Plantarei estrelas, e pedirei ao universo
Que desça sobre mim a calma de suas tristes trevas...

I’ll call stars, and will scream to the universe
That the absence of you turns to verse
That the more you raise me, the more I fall…

I’ll seal truths, and will riding dreams
I will sing my desires, my courage and my fears
And of the song that emanates from you I’ll be just sad
Minstrel, riddled with your honey, and lord of your secrets…

I’ll call to myself all doubts that I have,
All the truths that I left me
All nymphs that within me cry
All beings who once loved…

And so, that the more you raise me, the more I fall…
And in the absence of you that turns to verse
I1ll sow stars and I’ll ask the universe
That falls on me the calm of their sad darkness…
