E assim sigo sonhando
A espera da brisa
Na infindável esperança
De respirar-te em cada hausto.
De ti recendem diamantes
Onde o fausto
Precipita-se no sorriso despojado,
Onde o amor sorri
Espraiando-se por teu olhar
Onde te vejo nas asas de gentis constelações.
És esse universo estrelado,
Essa nobreza de gestos,
Esta gentileza de antigos restos
De sonhos recém construídos...
És o oceano, a tormenta, de cujo bramido
Escapam convulsões de saudade,
De cujos instantes,
Flui minha breve eternidade...

Waiting for breeze
In the endless hope
Breathing you in each gulp.
From you smells diamonds
Where the pomp
Falls into the stripped smile,
Where love smiles
By spreading out your look
Where I see you in the wings of gentle constellations.
You are the starry universe,
This noble gesture,
This kind of ancient remains
of newly constructed dreams...
You are the ocean, the storm, whose roaring
Escape seizure of nostalgia,
Of such moments,
Flows my brief eternity...
