E se de mim já não te chega paz

Se de meu verso não te importa a tez,

E se te cega essa vil altivez

Que importa o cálice que a vida traz?

Que importa a vida que em mim não percebes

Se de meu cesto de ordinária palha

Vaza a esperança como uma acendalha

Ateando fogo à vida que não bebes?

Que importa o céu se estrelas já não vês,

Se por instantes trocas o eterno,

Se ao meu calor impões o teu inverno

E se ao meu nada impões tua altivez?

O que me importa é amar-te em desatino

É ter em ti o sol da minha vida

E idolatrar essa aberta ferida

Que faz de ti dona do meu destino!

WHO CARES?

If of my verse you don’t want to know,
And if in arrogance you fly away in blow
What matters the cup of your sterile edge?

What matters my life that you can’t to understand
If of my rustic and weak straw basket
Trick my hope like a simple trinket
Where burns your life while you keep stand?

Who cares if  the stars you no longer see,
If for a moment you change the eternal,
If around me you imposes your sad final
And if at my nothing your imposes your chancy?

What matters to me is to love you in madness
To have in you the sunshine of my life
And idolize this wound, opened and rife
That makes of you the owner of my destiny aimless!!
