Esse ponto brilhante que habita minha alma,
A natureza última do meu ser,
A tradução mais exata do meu entardecer,
A ficção cuja realidade transcende e acalma,
É o que restou do sol esfuziante,
Do instante
Em que tua luz inundou meu mundo...
E brilhará assim, na eternidade,
Nesse brilho pálido onde permeia uma saudade
A iluminar o dia que se faz noite, num céu moribundo...

This bright spot that inhabits my soul,
The ultimate nature of my being,
The most accurate translation of my evening,
The fiction which transcends the reality and brings calm,
It's what's left of dazzling sun,
times when I had fun
Times which thy light filled my world...
And so it will shine in eternity
In a pale glow which permeates a missing
Illuminating the day that makes itself night in a moribund sky...
